These
people are highly trained, and nursing facility care is their specialty. Individualized
rehabilitative nursing techniques help residents become as self-sufficent as possible
as soon as possible, and allow many people to resume their former lifestyle.
Dr. William Elder MD, has been our medical director for several years. In addition to serving as our medical director, he has also served as the chief of staff at the Knox Community Hospital and is currently a member of the board. Dr. Elder also has a nurse praticioner, Carla Adu, RN/LNP who frequently visits the facility and coordinates care. If you need physician services, he will be glad to have a personal conference with you to discuss your needs. Most physicians in Knox county have residents at Country Court, so the transition to live with us will be as smooth as possible.
Our pharmacy service features a unit dose system available to all our residents.
Medication is regularly monitored by a registered pharmacist consultant.
At our facility, the emotional and social requirements of our residents are
accommodated. We provide the highest standards of nursing care, also physical, occupational and speech therapy. The staff is constantly informed of the latest in nursing
techniques and ideas through regular seminars and inservice training.
